HEIC to JPG on Windows

If a photo says the file format is unsupported, it is usually an iPhone HEIC. You do not need the Microsoft Store HEIF extension for a one-off picture. Convert it to JPG on this page, then open the new file in Photos or Paint.

Chrome and Edge on Windows can run the converter. The original HEIC stays in the folder you picked. The HEIC to JPG converter writes a separate .jpg.
